More Christmas Presents!

Half day leave today and spent the afternoon with hubby. =)

Took our lunch at Emerald Orchard, Food Court, one of the nice Korean stalls there and then went to walk around. I still have some Christmas shopping to do and I heard that Robinsons having 20% sale, and I want to get my mascara so went in. Then I realized, the sale does not include fragrances and cosmetics. What a let down! chey!!!

Showed hubby the purple dress that is so pretty and he say "OK la, not very nice." Men have such a different view on what is nice and not nice from women!

Anyway, we walked over to Taka coz I wanna get some toys for my 2 nephews but after looking, I still have no idea what to get lei. So sian. Then getting quite bored with town, we decided to go to Vivo city. I know I very sua ku la.. but no choice lei, still haven't gone there yet.

So hubby and me took the train down lor. And hor, the moment I reached there, gives me a feel of Malaysia. Coz the building is so big, it's like no end to walking through it! Reminds me abit of KLCC or something like that lor.

But not bad lei, in the 2,3 hours there, we had a nice coffee break at Pacific Coffee. Their chocolate paradise is VERY nice!! Coz, it's chocolatly la, my favourite. So it's very very nice. Cold, ice blended with bits of real chocolates that you can bite into when drinking it. Hubby had the "Irish Cream Latte" which in our opinion is way tooooo sweet!

And I realised that most of the cafes/restaurants there have an alfreso dining/eating area that looks across to Sentosa and also PSA. Nice!

And hor, check out what the paper nakpin says...
Heh! Need to be soooooo obvious ar?
We walked around and we bought a few things, adding more items to my christmas lists. Settled, Godpa's, Godma's & Irene's present. Vivo is quite big. Really. And I don't think we manage to cover the whole place but we did cover the shops that interests us. Then I think shopping is a very tiring and hungry experience.
Coz Vivo is so new, so are the shops, some of the shops have promoters to give away freebies and things to attract crowds and to create awareness. Here's what "Forever 21" gave away... pretty, fluttering, papery butterfiles... There's supposed to be blue and pink as well but I only managed to get 2. Oh well..
Then I realized that Vivo must have some kind of promotion with the Standard Chartered credit cards, they had these.
Men and women dressed in skintight leotarts (SC colours) forming a small band complete with 2 jugglers. And almost everywhere, you can see the SC banners or posters or don't know what lucky draws if the SC card is used. Their slogan? "You swipe, we reward."
Heh! The more I swipe the more I pay...don't think their reward can cover much and also... I may not win lor. And I would have spent so much MORE $$$!

Shortly after, hubby complain that he needs food. Guess where we headed? Back to Bishan since we had a $40 Sakae Sushi voucher, we had sushi for dinner. I think we are both big eaters lei! Goodnes... the 2 of us polished off 12 coloured plates and 3 other premium plates while a family of about 4 or 5 people ate less than us... =P No wonder we growing so fat now!

Walked around and I guess, I'm gng to get some chocolates for my youngest sis as christmas present and got some vouchers for my other sis. Really no idea of what to get them liao lei. Everytime buy tops, clothes also very sian and I don't see them wearing so might as well get them something that they can eat lor.

See?! After the hours on our feet, looking hard for grabs and good gifts, these are what we manage to fill our bags with which also leaves our pockets another hundred bucks lighter. -_-"

One of the Clarins pencil is for myself lar. Actually hor, I think, we din buy alot of things lei.
Just 1 book for Godpa, a bookmark for Irene, $20 voucher for my Sis, 2 eye liner pencils (waterproof) in brown for myself and Godma.
That's all lei. I made hubby buy me a bookmark too. But not photographed here yet. Wait till he give me then I will post it up.
Also went to NTUC and finally made the order for the ribs and ham that we intend to serve for dinner when my family-in-law come over, a grand total of 7 people (including us).

NTUC is sellting this set (set 25) at $33.80 and it includes the honey glazed pork ribs (1kg) and a Baby honey baked ham in a gift box. I don't need the box lar, we are eating it and not meant as gifts.

In addition to that, I will make some chicken wings, some green salad, potatoe salad and also pasta. So should be enough for all.

I already have some mini strawberry rolls & eclairs that I've ordered previously and was thinking of serving this for dessert.
But when I passed by Bread talk and saw these...
Gosh!!! SO PRETTY!!! I wanna order it too!!!

Hmmm... Should I order this?

OR should I order the chocolate fondue set from Pine Gardens? Or should I just stick to the strawberry rolls and éclairs (which are currently residing in my fridge)?? Now, I cannot make up my mind! DUH!!! How?? HOW??!!!Which dessert shall we offer?! Log Cakes? Mini strawberry rolls and chocolate eclairs?? Chocolate Foundue???

Walked round J8 some more and finding nothing much else.... we started on our way home. Also being tired from the shopping the whole afternoon, a good dinner, we were ready to call it a night.

And seriously, J8 is really really boring! Nothing much at all lei.

BUT, even MORE seriously, which dessert?!?!?!?
