Off to KL in another few hours time. But the moment I reach home later, must prepare to do the following:
1) Charge battery for camera
2) Bring out all the skincare, cosmestics and daily necessities
3) Pack and fill water bottles
4) Hunt and pack a smaller bag for carrying around
5) Holy Objects!!!
6) Maps, passports, coach tickets, Hp charger
Think that should be all since Trina bringing the pills for motion sickness, and I have most of the clothes in.
Just need to bring all these and I am all set and ready to go!
But before I even set off, I am starting to miss hubby liao. This will be the 1st time since our marriage and even pak tor days that I went overseas with a friend instead of him. Heng, he brought me to KL twice so still abit familiar. Not so bad.
Gng with a girl friend will prove to be a wonderful experience, I am sure.. except not such a big and happy thing when we c the hole in pockets lor. haha
Darling, must miss me huh!

A ray of sunshine... ...
After 2 nights of ignoring each other, we finally made peace.
I was just thinking back to the days when we were just dating, cold war and arguments happen and after a while it will be alright. But when there were moments where it's really bad, break up was an option open to us.
But after this incident, I realized something, there are bound to be more of such things, little little things tat will make each of us upset and irritated. But yet, splitting up is NO longer an option opened to us.
I have already given up that option to end it all when I said my vows...
Now, all the things that caused us to be upset with each other, if we don't want our marriage to break down, the only possible way wld be to forgive and to move on. To say it is so easy, but to really really practice it is not so simple.
I know that, I also know that when hubby tries to make peace, I should not be so stubborn and hold out and stay pissed off. But saying and doing is always 2 different story.

Still not in the best of moods today. Still recovering from the blessed doors 2 nights ago. I know it is not healthy to let the anger simmer and boil for so long. But truth be told, I am not angry nor upset that the incident happened. I am more upset than anything that I'm taken for granted. I simply don't understand why must he keep doing the things that I specifically told him to not do.
It's either I don't make myself clear enough as it is or he simply gets a kick in doing things that irriate me. Or maybe my threshold of irritating things are lower than the average normal human beings? I don't know.
Still not not talking to him yet. U can call it the middle of the cold war. Yes, he did explain to me why he did wat he did last nite and that he can understand my concerns. My point is, if he can understand my concerns, then why do it in the first place when he knows that I will be irriated and angry over it?? Then again, one can also argue that since he knows he is at fault, then 'forget and forgive' lor. Yeah. I know that too.
I can forgive but I cannot forget. Coz I cannot forget the way he makes me feel. The irresponsible actions that he did. I cannot forget that he knows I will be upset if he does it and he went on ahead to do it. Throwing cation to the winds.
I cannot forget that we stay at a corridor unit and burgalary is very 'convenient' for those who intend to break in. I cannot forget that it is thru our own carelessness that we allow this to happen. I cannot forget that he says robbers will choose richer family to break in.. (as though the bulgars will know which families are rich. HA!) I also cannot forget the danger that we are allowing this to happen to us. My heart missed a beat when I pushed opened the door. Afraid that something terrible has happened. I know that even if we locked the doors, misfortune can still happen, but it gives us that few mre seconds to pick up the darn phone and dial "999"? No? Rather than having the whole hse wide open and let anyone have their own way in our hse and our lives?
Yes, SG is a safe country but who is to say that this will not start fm my home? No one! No one can say that.
Yes, I am still upset. I am more upset that he disregards my fears, concerns and doesn't even care! I can live with unlock doors if it 100% will NOT threaten my life and my home. But that can never be the case.
So who can blame me for kicking up a huge fuss this time? This is really one time too often.

Grrrrrr!!!
Gosh.. I can't believe it! I'm fuming. F-U-M-I-N-G! GRRRRR!! And who am I soooo fuming mad about? The man I called HUSBAND!
Just what is so darn bloody hard to lock either the gates or the wooden door after coming home? True! I don't have to be so upset over this locking of doors biz. The catch is, I have already compromised with him!! and he is just taking me for granted! Basket!!! GRRRRRR!!!!!!!
The very first time, he left all doors unlocked. Sure, I kicked up a fuss and in the end, we reach a compromised, as long as there is someone in the hall, the doors can be unlocked or just lock either the gate or the door.
So along the way, there are also many incidents where we forgot to lock or he din keep to his part of his bargain, I closed an eye.
BUT YESTERDAY IS TOO MUCH LOR!!!!
NOT in the hall and all doors unlock. I can't take it anymore. I lost my temper at him. I really really don't understand, I told him nicely, told him in english, told him in mandrain, shouted at him, flared up at him but it just don't work!!!
I don't know how to communicate to him. I feel he is soooooooo irresponsbile. Threw the safety of our home to the winds. I am upset. no.. I am more than upset. First is coz he once again ignored what I said before. And I am more upset that he cannot understand.
This morning, I din wait for him as our usual practise. Coz I had no inention to eat bf at hm in the 1st plc coz of the graduation ceremony. Maybe coz I am still upset. Tat also resulted in my 'storming' off. But wat upset me off, is the fact that, HE CANNOT REMEMBER & CANNOT UNDERSTAND.
Simply put, take me for granted. Not taking notice of wat I said. I have already told him many many times but he...
I don't know what language or how to communicate with him. I don't know what other language to use.
I think I am more sad than angry at this moment. And I really have no wish to talk to him now. Not last night, not today, not even later. I really really feel we used to be happier when we were dating.

Doing Wrong thing at a Wrong Time
Last Night was really a very lousy night. After the dinner at my in law place we went to take some bread and my wife was eyeing on the durain all those time when we were walking to the shop where her mother is working. To cut the story short, we went home and her mother call her to go back to the store to buy durain, so I went home alone and she went to buy durain.
After I reach home, I was thinking since my wife is coming back soon, so I just leave the door unlock, but closed. Then I wanted to watch TV and wait for her, but I saw the clothes hanging in the room, so I thought it would be sweet of me to do some house work before she comes home rather then watching TV. So I went ahead to keep the clothes. As I was keeping the clothes in the room, she came home, and shouted from outside to ask me to open the door for her. So I call out loudly that the door was not lock. My nightmare starts from then. The moment she came in the house, she shouted at me and said:
"Why din you lock the door, robber could have just come in like that. How many time must I tell you to lock the door after you come in. You cannot understand english is it. Then what language must I say then you can understand."
Well, first thing first, I think if I am a robber, I will not rob this family. I will rob someone who look richer than me. And I dont think there are so many robber out there to rush into ones house to rob, at least not in Singapore I think. It is ture that we should be careful when we open and close the door, maybe I really took sercuity for granted. But in the first place I wanted to help with house work that's why I was not in the living room when she came home. I was also very upset with the things she said, like wat language must I say then you can understand. I was angry and I was thinkning in my mind, "why dont you try speaking in Malay, maybe I can understand better." I know she was very upset with me, because she was shouting louder and louder. The only way I know to get out of this situation is to keep quiet and let her cool down before talking to her. I know I am wrong to take sercuity for granted, but does she have to shout. I know the more I say the more angry she will get, and I can sense that her anger had taken over her. She cannot control her voices. Well I think only lar.
After the shouting, she went on with her shower, and I went to other room to do some execise, and after that I refused to talk to her. As we went watching TV, I can sense that she was not as angry as just now, but still I refuse to talk to her. I was also very upset with the things she say, who can blame me for not wanting to talk to her.
This morning, I think she must be still angry with me. I was also a bit upset with her, but still, I poured her a glass of milk as I finished "dressing up" before her. I wanted to wait for her to have the breakfast together, but she took too long to dress up and she only drank the milk and took the bread to office to eat. When we were going out, I though we could have a bit of time to talk, but she went off with the lift before I could finish locking the door. Since she is so determine to dun talk to me, we will see how things go tonight.

Life not smooth... Hot weather...
These few days I must be doing something not very right. My wife keep upset with me. Hai... so sain. Sunday early morning being shouted, for not waking up on time. Then also some small thing here and there for the rest of the day. I think is because the weather is getting hot. I also feeling the heat liao. Hopefully things will change for the better. If not there will be more trouble for me.

Another weekend gone.
Hai... sad sad lar.. Another weekend gone and this weekend though long but we din rest enough.
And tomorrow onwards, I'm gonna hv graduation for the whole week. Will be tired out lor. The higest point of excitment for this week will be "the wedding of the year" on this Sat. haha..
But this weekend was quite special too lar, we went shopping, did housework (bleh!) went swimming and of course went for mass. I love weekends like this where we did things lesiurely and don't have to rush to go anywhere or do anything in particular.
I'm recently starting to read this book, "His needs, Her needs" on loan to me by my room mate, Ah Teck. It's really an interesting book. Describing in details why men and women are different. Also how to overcome or rather prevent. In fact, I much much prefer this book to John Gray's "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus." This His and Hers gave practical examples and also the points to lead up to the situation. What I like best is the opening chapter, "How to build an affair proof marriage" I think this is v v impt and relevant in our modern days now. Men (in general) succumb to temtation so easily and there are just tempatations everywhere no matter which way you turn.
I just started chapter 6 and well will spend more time on it if I can. Really interesting!
I hope hubby will read the book too and then we can discuss some of the points that was raised. =) Sometimes, being prayerful and just assuring each other is not enough. Getting to know how your spouse function is also a good way to bond the re-ship and to bring it to higher levels.

Shopping Day!!
Hubby and I are both on leave today! Yipeee!!! and we took our own sweet time in getting up and out of bed and then we hit the towns. =)
I swear, all I wanted to get was another set of bed sheets from the co'zy studio, maybe a corset bra and also some wrappers that Chua BK wants me to get on behalf of the co. Tat's all. But somehow, when u are in the shops, so many things just seem to pop out at you wearing this little sign that says:"Buy Me! Buy Me!" at that little high screeching act cute voice that u simply cannot ignore?!
And so, we bought lots and lots of things! In total, 4 bagfuls of Taka paperbags!! *Whew* So much for 'not spending so much' and 'I din spend alot during GSS 2006!' Hurmp!!!
Bought my bra,
and hubby bought a pair of pants (while the tag screams "buy me! buy me!" I only costs $19.90)
Bought the wrappers, a total of 14 pieces costs me a freaking $30!!
Wah lau.. Now I got to think of how to claim the $ =(
Finally went for bf cum lunch cum dinner.. sort of an all in one kinda meal and then we decided to just head to the linen fair in Taka to take a look before we head for Robinsons for the bed sheets. I mean if Taka has it, then wat for walk to Centrepoint right?
Well, they don't have the co'zy studio we were thinking of walking to Centrepoint but hubby says can give the other brand tat we saw a try... so after making a rnd we decided.. heck.. go ahead to get it fm Taka. And this costs us another hundred! hurmp!!!
Since I had to go for facial later, I din want to leave Taka too early lor. We shopped at the basement for a while and we bought 2 thermos flask coz again the darn tagline was gng "buy me! buy me!..." And it only costs a miserable $10 each!! So we buy lor.
Also bought another piece of wrapper to wrap up Lynn's wedding gift. Coz I simply love the wrapper sooo much. Decided to get it.. but darn ex! $3.30 for a piece of wrapping paper!!!
All in all, we signed away $200 for a corset bra, a pair of pants, a set of bed sheets + 2 pillows, 1 piece of wrapper paper and 2 thermos flask!!! *Faint* All these in Taka alone. And I forgot to add that we bought these fm Paragon as well.. which costs us $30+!
Goodnes!! =S
Then I got this after my facial. Just nice to match my dress that I'll be wearing to Lynn's wedding =)

Good rest @ nites!
Well, as I was saying in my previous posts, hubby and me changed bedsheets and we were both hoping that the new sheets will be comfortable and nice.
Well... They are!! The new sheets are so soft and comfy! Hubby and me really almost fall asleep immediately! And the best of all, it's big enough to cover the whole of our bed!! Yay!! Finally found the right sheets for it.
It's by this brand co'zy. We bought the 420 threadcount and gosh.. though it's soo expensive, it feels sooooo good! Luckily, I asked hubby to get the green set. If not, we won't be able to test it out with our original quilt cover set.

Actually the bed sheets comes with little designs on it, but we figured that no 1 will probably be starting hard at it when they do come over for a visit. So doesn't matter.
Now hubby is complaining that the quilt cover is too rough for his delicate skin. Shd we get new quilt covers as well? hmmm.... But I think more impt will be to get the bedsheets 1st, coz we lie on it, and we can feel the material more. While quilt cover, we cover ourselves with it, won't feel the material much.
OK! Settled, I will be gng for kickbozing again this Thurs, so before I go in, will pop into Robinsons to get another set. Hmmm... Should I get the pink set or the blue set or both? haha.. Actually, I love the designs of the quilt cover. But.. way too ex lar..
Alone on the bedsheets it will be $69 and 2 pillowcases will be $50! So just 1 set wil costs us, $119!! Too ex to change everything la.

Loaded Qn.
Hubby just asked me the loaded and expensive question. "To study or not to study." This in itself is a statement and by itself is a super duper expensive question to answer.
To study means to burn a big big hole in pocket and also to spend lotsa time on it and also means to shelf our BB plans for another 2,3 years. Or rather 1 more year after graduate to save up and also to "repay" the co for sending me to study.
While for hubby, it's really to save up after the huge hole by the degree course.
Just went thru the SIM, SMU and NTU webby(s) yar, their course of course if the co is willing to sponsor me, there won't be questions weather the course and uni is recongnised. But looking at the criteria.
1) I cannot make it
2) Darn long lor, it's like 3 years!!! Which means by the time I can try for a BB I will be like 31?! Darn old.
3) Darn ex. Yup, Not I pay. But the co will bond me even longer lor!!!
I still feel that, for me, it's an option that I am willing for forgo (if I can forgo, n my boss n dir don't come and bother me.) But for hubby, if he can, he really should go ahead and take a degree to his name. After all, he is the man of this household, he should hv something mre substanstial to his name rather than the dip.
I know we will be very tight then. But again, for the sake of our future, there isn't much choice.
老公, go ahead to do it! 加油! I support you!!

Study study study....
Hai, don't know to study or not to study, and is it a good move to study. If both of us study together, then cannot have BB in near future. If dont study together 1 of us will be bore. So sian...

Typical weekend
Another weekend has passed. Comfortably, relaxing and enjoying. Haha.. if only all our weekends will be like this.
After mass, go for lunch at AMK. Sat down for a long long time wif Emma and Hubby and chat.. coz it was pouring heavily. Then hubby and me went for a short walk in AMK and manage to get somethings. =)
Then went to J8 to get MORE things.. haha.. I love weekends like this. Where it's so relaxing and just love to spend the time wif hubby. =)
We got some clothings... I manage to get 2 shorts that I can wear at home or maybe to the market too.. Hubby got 2 more polo-tees for himself. I find the orange 1 abit too "M1" la.. but since Hubby likes.. then ok lor. I prefer the lime green but hubby don't like the material.. then too bad lor.
Also went to Aussino to get another set of the mattress protector + pillow pads. We feel that 1 set is not enough especially after we washed it and it's not dry yet. So get an additional set! =)

We went to GNC to collect my bottle of evening primerose too.. and we tapow dinner back. Coz we want to watch Xmen2 on TV.
Came home, quickly packed all the things away and then we went for our shower and then since it was already time and hubby desprately wanted to watch the Xmen. He settled dw in front of the TV while I go n cut the veg for salad. Not tough at all and I enjoy doing it too. So no big problem. =)

Yummylicious dinner!
Though it was a typical weekend, I'm really happy and rested. Coz not on all the weekends u manage to find 1 that is windy and cooling on a hot June Sunday!

Tiring day =(
Wah... today is a tiring day for us sia.. and not to mention.. we have a little guest (rather unwanted, I may add since yesterday)
This guy was clinging outside our window since last night! And for fear that it may fly/crawl/jump watever and infest our home, we shut the windows! And for the whole of today, it was still there!!
Woke up at close to 11.15 am *blush* then went to the market to buy food for the next week then came back home to cook lunch and also prepare to do household chores.
Done lots today... change bedsheets, vaccumm the floor, hubby mopped the floor then cooked lunch as we were doing all these also. Changed the sheets from aussino to the new set that we bought at Robinsons the other day. Hopefully, it will be comfy!
Had potatoe salad, fresh green salad and pasta for lunch. All prepared by moi! =) haha.. not the 1st time that I prepared this la. But I still like the potatoe salad after all these times of eating. haha
After lunch, settled dw to watch TV and then took our shower and settled down for more TV. Before we knew it, it's time for dinner.
Since, there's a pasar malam near our plc, we decidede to take a walk and then buy dinner back. Such a disappointment at the pasar malam. Din manage to get anything much except a pair of long long chopsticks and 2 metal holders which are good for me to steam food and just to put the hot plates. Tat costs $4.50! expensive leh! And since tat little guy was still there, and it happened to be raining, I use the brolly to brush it away! and YICKES!!! IT ACTUALLY FLY!!! But I must say it's not a c good pilot. That thing went flying sprial down hill rather like the plane tat hubby was trying to fly.
Since there isn't anything much, we just went to the coffeeshop and tapow dinner.. guess wat we bought?? haha
And we sat down to our unhealthy dinner. Looks quite a spread doesn't it? We have the spring chicken, a big bowl of potatoe salad (from this afternoon) another bowl of green salad (similiar to that in the afternoon) complete with Ice Kachang and Ice Jelly with soursop for dessert! We are 2 happy persons, man!
After this good and fattening dinner, we watched more TV lor.. wat else to do on a Sat night? haha Nothing much on TV, so we watched DVD. Finally watched Zathura.. not bad la.. abit like Jumanji.
Off to bed now... tml got morning mass. Got to wake up early too.

Big Boy @ play
A few nights ago, hubby finally had the chance to try out his new toy. So we went downstairs to an empty space to try out his plane.
Hmm... what can I say? U pay peanuts, u get monkey lor. The plane well... can't fly but manage to glide and just after that it's virgin flight, the battery went off and well...
Hubby's face SAYS everything right?
We had to charge it so many times but still it doen't work the way a plane flies lor. I din even manage to get a pic of the plane "up" in the air. =(
Finally with the batteries dead, we went back to our home and then reading the instructions, hubby discovered that the sales had gave us the wrong instructions!! He was quite indigant about it!
And with renewed strength and hopes, he charged the plane again. This time I went to bathe while he go dw stairs to play. Think shd be quite a success coz I did hear the whirling of the propellers and also the landing of the plane hitting concrete though noticably less lor. haha
Think Hubby had quite a good few mins of plane flying. haha..
What can I say? Boys will be Boys and ALL men are have a streak of fun and games. Haha

The truth about weddings ( Just for laugh)
Saw this from the Newpaper. So funny... Hahahaha...
White wedding
A boy at a wedding looks at his mum and says: 'Mummy, why does the girl wear white?'
His mum replies: 'The bride is in white because she's happy and this is the happiest day of her life.'
The boy thinks about this, and says: 'Well then, why is the boy wearing black?'
Like father, like husband?
If it's true that women are inclined to marry men like their fathers, it is understandable why so many mothers cry so much at weddings.
A sudden change of mind
My dearest Susan,
Sweetie of my heart. I've been so desolate ever since I broke off our engagement. Simply devastated.
Won't you please consider coming back to me? You hold a place in my heart no other woman can fill. I can never marry another woman quite like you. I need you so much.
Won't you forgive me and let us make a new beginning? I love you so.
Yours always and truly, John.
PS: Congratulations on your winning the lottery.

Happy marriage life... :)
These few days, my Dear has been in a very good mood. Maybe is because of the shopping or maybe is the food we eat, anyway she is in very good mood. Hopefully this can last for the rest of our life, then I will really have a very happy marriage life, and will not have the third ring of marriage. Hahahaha....
Wedding bands on the 4th finger.
I came across this in a email this morning.. and it immediately remind me of this verse.
No human being must sepatate, then, what God has joined together. ~Mark 10:9~
1. Put your fingers as shown on the picture.
2. Try to separate your thumbs. Thumb represent parent, they will leave you someday, hence the thumbs can separated.
3. Close your thumbs and try to separate your index fingers. Index fingers represent siblings, they will leave you someday when they have their own family, hence index fingers can separated.
4. Close your index fingers and try to separate your little fingers. Little fingers represent children, they will leave you someday when they have grown up, hence little fingers can separated.
5. Now close your little fingers and try to separate your fourth fingers. You will realize that you cannot separate the, because they represent the marriage of husband and wife.
Then how about middle finger? Well, in palmistry, thumb represent parents, index finger represent siblings, middle finger represent yourself, fourth finger represent spouse and last finger represent children.
Not that I believe palmistry but I'm just thinking that when God created us, mankind, He created us this way and it's almost impossible for us to separate our 4th fingers and it's just like a "mother nature" thingy which cannot be explained. So doesn't it make the vows that the married couples take even more "unbreakable"?
No matter is it palmistry or what, it's also another romantic thought (in addition to the ever famous that, there is a vein that runs from our 4th finger straight to the heart) that by such a simple gesture, it magnifest the vows that we took.

decided!
Well... here we are, we have decided to start a marriage blog. (if there is such a thing anyway.) haha..
Both hubby and I have decided that we should continue with our habbits of journal writting. And with the invention of modern technology, we ditched our journal writting by hand (Yup, we used to keep a journal in which we both put in at least 2 entry per week, then dwindled down to when we have things to write) and switched to blogging instead.
Kinda miss the times when we actually jounal in our dairy. I still remember fondly the time when hubby and I 1st DIY our our journal. It was quite a few years back and our 1st "project" together. We DIY almost everything, we made the cover from an old file and lotsa newspaper to give the cover a "cushionly" feel and then buy ribbons, papers, I still remember when hubby drew me a picture of this boy and girl fm a T-shirt I used to have, I coloured it, wrapped it in plastic and then we both thought of ways and methods to put everything in place.. It took a few months.. and finally when the whole thing was completed. We both looked at it and really! Tears of JOY came to the both of us at the same time. At that moment, I cld sense wat hubby was thinking.. our 1st "BB" completed!!
That was really sometime ago.. at least 5 years. But yet, the memory is still fresh and vivid in my mind. That memory and the special journal is something special and I will really treasure.
Sad to say, we no longer write in that journal anymore... but now.. with this blog. Maybe, we can pick up that habbit again.
The entries, really make it v special to us both. We write dw our thoughts, feels, anger, disappointment and happiness in it. And it really made us know each other better and gives us insight into each other lifes. Not to mention, it helps us both to reflect mre on what has happened...
