shopping spree

Can't remember when, but it was one of those weekends where after dinner, Hubby and I made our way to Suntec and we got ourselves lots of stuff! A giant luggage 3-in-1 box for our impending trip to Israel. There's another 2 smaller ones inside. Lots of books. Which were going at $5 per copy only!!! I had to grab some! Hubby also bought some books but not pictured here. Masks! Masks!! And MORE Masks! These masks were not bought locally, a friend's friend went to Taiwan recently and we asked her to "lombang" all these masks back. It's sooooooo cheap over in Taiwan!!!

I only have to pay $0.90 cents or thereabouts per piece ok! The lowest I managed to find locally is still at least $1.20 which I still have to pay for local postage or something. Imagine the whole lot here costs me less than $45! And there's more than 50 pieces here! It's more than an entire year of supply I guess... coz I still have a drawer full of masks in my stash.

Then while we were still in carefour, we stock up on all the frozen food, main thing was to make it to $150 so that we can get the guys to deliver the luggage box, our books and masks lor. Don't overestimate these 3 items hor... They weigh a TON mann!

The luggage box was like $80, the books were another $40 or so I think, then we spent the rest on some household and frozen food, the bill came easily to more than $150 already. Happy!

We then stash the masks inside the box, the books and household items no problem, can just let them deliver since we bought from them. hahahah.. Their service quite good. By Monday night, we got all our things!

Woo hooo... Joy to spend $. REALLY! =)

Ohhh!!! Forgot to add that, finally, I've managed to try Carl's Junior Beef Chili Fries!!! Nice!! I love the cheese and the minced beef!!! Only thing is, not enough cheese and beef =( Or maybe I ate too much of it left just the fries? hahahhaha

Will definitely go back for more next time!
