Our little Darling; The Lima Beanie

Went to see Dr Kenneth Lee at Mt A this morning and he assured me that I am indeed pregnant + the little one is in a good shape and has grown to 10mm now.

It is still too early to say if the little one will turn out well and normal at this stage in time, but he told me to relax and give the little one time to grow. On top of that, he has given me fish oil and also some extra pills to try to stop my spotting. Hope the medication will work.

Will be back to see him on 24 Nov. This time, hubby will be coming with me. And if all turns out well, we should be able to see / hear the heartbeat of our little darling.

All I'm asking for is the Baby to be healthy and developing normally and well. The rest of the things don't matter as much anymore.

The first scan of our Baby. The first sign of life of our little darling done by Dr Yvoone Soong at TMC using ultrasound. Sac measured at 6mm as on 30 Oct 07.

Second scan of our Baby. Done today by Dr Kenneth Lee at Mt A using vaginal scan. A little uncomfortable and caused me to have heavy spotting the whole of today. =(

Close up of our Baby. Dr Lee said it has grown from my verbal report of 6mm to 10mm now and that it's in a good shape. =) That's a relief. Our Baby is officially termed as "lima beanie" today as the shape just reminds me of a "Lima Bean" a sleeping lima bean that is. =)

But for the matter, baby looks like a bean, any bean not just a Lima anyway. But don't know why, Lima Beans just keeps popping into my head. Hubby came home and immediately asked "How's our "Lima Beanie" doing?" and went in search for this precious scan of Baby. hahahahahaha

I guess, the name "Lima Beanie" is here to stay for a while now.
