Long walk

It's been a long time since hubby and I took a slow leisurely walk after mass. I really enjoy doing it with him. Just him and me, walking, hand in hand, chatting about anything and everything.

It's also been sometime since we last go to CTK for evening mass. The weather was great, not too hot, with a slight breeze coming our way every few minutes. It would have been better if those idiot smokers will smoke in the direction of the wind AWAY from people and that if the blessed bus comes on time... But anyway, I had a great evening with hubby and Lima Beanie (LB) and that's all that matters. So not to dwell on unhappy things and spoil my mood....

After evening mass at CTK, we bump into Jason. It's been ages since we last saw him too. At least more than 6 months already! SO it was a big surprise to have met him. We would have dinner together if he was not meeting his girlfriend, so another time then.

Had dinner at S11 in AMK. Just a simple dinner, nothing fancy. Then went in search for my jelly shoes. But after walking and trying, I find that the shoes are not for me. It's flat. ya... but too flat. I cannot stand it. So no jelly for me already.

Just walked around and we landed up in Hub. I was attracted to a temporary accessories stall and was busy choosing some earrings for myself and I think I saw a blogger there too but can't be sure since it's only her photos I saw. Her son is probably less than 6 months old now, but she's looking good and slim! Back to my earrings, I got these...Big, wooden ones. I think the trend is changing to wooden pieces already. Earlier this year it was beads and ornate designs, then silver and now wooden pieces. I actually seen similar pieces being sold at F21. But the price is forever out of my range. These 3 pairs only costs me $5 lor. Where to find like that? Happy. =)

Anyway, I bought 2 pairs of leggings as well. I have been wanting to get more, since leggings are very expandable and I figured with my soon-to-expand waistline, leggings are about the most comfy and cheap thing I can be wearing? A plain brown and black pair from COAX. And there's 10% off! *heehee* Easiest to match my existing tunics and tops. =) I think tunics are about the next best thing I can wear in my existing wardrobe without spending too much for the time being too!

Finally, while we were on the way to the library to return a book, we passed by this shoe shop. Remember I was in search for flatties? I finally found something comfortable and suitable! Tough not as cheap as jelly, I would prefer to pay more lor. $19.90 each. Good. Now I have 3 basic colors (Black is an existing pair. Now with white/black and brown) already. This will be enough for me to last through for a couple of months! Hopefully, can last me through to when I need not carry LB, then I can go back to my heels!

Came home to find a cheque in the letter box. It's the full refund for our deposit that we paid originally for our trip to Israel. The agent is kind enough to return us our deposit in full. I'm so thankful and grateful to him. We were prepared to loose up to 75% of the amount when I called him.

And he's so sweet, he actually enclosed a short note with the cheque, congratulating us on the soon to arrive LB. Mann.... the next time, when we are ready to go to Israel, I'll be VERY sure to go to him!

Hubby's viewpoint is that, he wants to remain on good terms, so that we will go back to him or refer others to him. Whichever way hubby wants to look at it, I still find Anthony a nice and sincere man and it's his kindness that he is willing to return us the full deposit. The deposit may not be much, it's $1K, but to us now, this $$$ will definitely come in handy when LB grows bigger and is ready to face the world.

On a completely different side note, I was asking hubby if we should go and visit his parents. It's been more than a month since we last saw them. Granted we are busy with work and school and I've not been in a very suitable situation to move around much recently. But since we are in AMK, maybe just drop by to say "Hi" or something. But hubby was against it, he said too late already. By the time we leave for home, it will be too late. So, we did not go.

I kind of have this feeling that hubby's aunts are 'blaming' me that we are not going back. Hubby used to go back at least once a week with or without me. But recently, he has been doing the disappearance act. Even though he has lessons and exams, my PIL is aware but somehow, I just have this feeling lor. Call it the womens' 6th sense or whatever.

Maybe hubby is worried about me making the trip there and staying out till so late. He has grown to be very 'naggy' these days. Ever since the day he knew of LB's existence and I'm spotting. The moment my butt leaves the sofa, bed or chair, he asked me where I'm going. =/ Yes. I know he is concerned. But to be honest, I feel perfectly fine and mobile! Just that, I don't move as fast as I used to and of course the unfortunate bit is that I'm still spotting la. But really, other than these, I'm fit as a fiddle! I've not even started the dreaded Morning Sickness (MS) that most ladies are complaining about in the same stage of pregnancy.

Anyway, the pills from Dr Lee seems to be working, I still do have some spotting, but from the look of it, it looked like the unabsorbed portion of the medication rather than spotting. But nevertheless, I'm still going to be absolutely careful and not put myself or my LB at risk.

p.s LB is just a nick. We are NOT going to call our baby that, but BB will be LB till we think of something more suitable.
