End to my PH

PH today and we as usual laze till we are happy before moving our ass out of the house.

Orginal plan was to get lunch downstairs then go to TTSH to pay Nic a visit and then we go to East Coast for a walk... But we never made it to East Coast. We did however manage to go to TTSH after our lunch/tea at Killiney in Square 2.
I had my French Toast and we each had a coffee. A tad too sweet for my liking, but not bad lor. French toast... hm.. pretty normal lar.. I like the melted butter but not kaya... so in the end, I finished all the butter but left the kaya almost untouched. Hungry Hubby waiting for food. We have not eaten anything substantial for the whole day, but then again, we were nuahing at home most of the time, so this was enough to last us till dinner.

Thank God, my godbrother, Nic is looking good! He can talk and joke with us and he even chatted with us for almost an hour before we left. Best part of the news is that, the intial tests shows a negative reading!! Hip Hip Hooray!!! Doc says, if tml's blood test is normal, he can be discharged! =D

We walked around Square 2 after leaving him and then went to the Golf House near our plc for dinner...
it was so crowded! But thank God, we did not have to wait long for a table. We had to sit in the smoking corner but coz of the ceiling fans, we did not have to take in much of the 2nd hand smoke at all. GOOD!

Feeling famished, hubby went to order food. We had quite alot for just the 2 of us.. but the funny thing was, when we were discussing what to order, it did not sound so much! We had rojak with lime juice. A plate of hor fun with kai lan. (Which kai lan came first, that explains the small plate of veggies left). And thank God, hubby took my suggestion in just ordering 1 plate of hor fun to share... he was thinking of a plate each!We also had 10 sticks of Satay (5 mutton and 5 pork) and to complete the meal, BBQ Wings.

Lots of food hor?! But between the 2 of us, we polished every single bit off! The only thing that was left was my lime juice which I really had no room for anymore.

Really chiam lei... yesterday already ate so much, today eat again... and hubby says next time go again to try the claypot tian qi! Wah.. sure over eat again! But... to be honest, I don't think I'll mind. I like the claypot frogs... and the satay is quite good! Not that oily. Only thing is the peanut sauce was stone cold. If it's hot, it will be even nicer!

I'm one who is 'allergic' to satay at night... if I eat too much, I will puke. Serious. So I only took 3 or 4 sticks... but also depends on the satay. If it's not oily, I can stomach more. If it's oily, I can only take 1 or 2 sticks before I start to feel queesy and start behaving like a 'merlioness'. So, by the fact that I could eat, 3 or 4 sticks, this Satay is worth a try! hahahaha..

Needed the washrooms to clean our hands and their washrooms are semi-opened! The washing area is open like you see while, if you need the privacy, it's available too. Quite nice hor? Think the only opened / semi-opened toilet I've seen is in the Zoo... So in an area like this, I must snap a shot! hahaha... Call me 'sua ku' lor... but hor, I've been staying in this area for so long, I've never eaten there... and NEVER did I know that prawns fishing is available too!Well, the rates are not really cheap. But I guess, it's kind of fun if you are with the right company. But, all the time that we were watching, only a father and son team manage to catch a prawn. The rest were just holding out the rod.

While we were watching them, we suddenly remember this taiwaness lady who has broken all records in fishing for prawns and she can even choose to catch a female or male prawn at her whim and fancy!!!!

Power hor?!

So, this is an end to my PH and now, blogging at home and feeling abit of "Wednesday Blue". =S
